Pascal Lecointe - Cofounder & CEO
Pascal brings over twenty years of expertise in space and specialty insurance.
Former Line Underwriter at Hiscox, he led the Space Insurance department and Hiscox MGA Paris, delivering products in political risk, terrorism, event cancellation, yachts, and aviation. Pascal began his insurance career as a Space Risks Analyst at Hiscox London and previously worked as a satellite electrical systems architect at Aérospatiale (now Thales Alenia Space).
He holds engineering degrees from École Centrale Marseille and Supélec, as well as an Executive MBA in Insurance from CHEA. Pascal served as Chairman of the Space Risks Study Group of the International Union of Aerospace Insurers (IUAI) from 2019 to 2024 and was a member of the space committees of the Lloyd’s Market Association and the French Insurance Federation (FFSA).
Michele Biagi - Cofounder & Managing Director
Michele served as Deputy Line Underwriter for Space at Hiscox from 2014 to 2025, underwriting both space risks and pre-launch cargo risks. Michele began his career in 2001 at CNES (French Space Agency) within the Launch Vehicles Directorate, where he held technical and project management roles on the Ariane 5 ECA and Vega programs.
Between 2012 and 2014, he was Program Director and Leadership member at Safran System Aerostructures, a subsidiary of the Safran Group.
Michele holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pisa (Italy), an MBA from IAE Sorbonne Graduate Business School (France), and a Diloma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK).
Heike Bienvenu - Cofounder & Managing Director
Heike was Senior Space Underwriter at Hiscox and brings nearly twenty years of insurance experience within the Lloyd’s ecosystem.
Before joining Hiscox in London and later Paris, where she managed operations across multiple business lines, Heike worked in accounting for 14 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Bosch France.
She holds a dual degree in Accounting and European Finance: Diplom-Betriebswirt (Hochschule Bremen, Germany) and Diplôme Supérieur Européen (EM Normandie, France). Her academic background has been complemented by specialized training in space and insurance sectors.
